Cognitive behavioral therapy is an evidenced-based treatment focused on providing effective treatment of a number of psychological problems. The focus of therapy is to help you understand how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are all linked together. During session, I focus on building various skills, coping strategies, empowerment, expression of emotions, and cognitive restructuring. I also incorporate psychoeducation with most of my clients. I provide a safe and welcoming environment where people feel comfortable discussing difficult and sensitive topics.
